This policy explains how the Dool Cart Drawer Cart Upsell team processes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses the app.
Information we process
We process the store domain, Shopify authentication session details, cart-drawer configuration, app status, and aggregate activity counts such as drawer opens, checkout clicks, upsell additions, gift additions, and discount attempts.
We do not intentionally store customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, payment information, full cart contents, product selections, or customer identifiers.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate stores, provide and secure the app, save merchant settings, display aggregate analytics, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers
Shopify and our infrastructure providers may process information only as needed to operate and secure the app. We may also disclose information when legally required or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and deletion
Authentication sessions are deleted after uninstall. Store-level configuration and aggregate metrics are retained only as needed for service, support, security, and legal purposes, then deleted or anonymized. We verify and honor Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks.
Security and international processing
We use HTTPS, signed Shopify requests, least-privilege API scopes, restricted database access, and standard operational safeguards. Information may be processed where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Your choices
Depending on location, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Shopify merchants can contact us through our support page. Store customers should generally contact the merchant that operates the store first.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL. Privacy and deletion requests can be submitted through our support page.
